Accommodation : On Apataki, stay in a small family-run guesthouse offering cozy 2-person rooms, available as shared or private options. Shared rooms are ideal for couples or friends traveling together. (4 rooms total)

Activities: Explore the most fish-filled sites, where breathtaking marine biodiversity awaits. Drift through the passes and along majestic drop-offs, swim among pristine coral gardens, and observe the most colorful and rare species, in an abundance that has been carefully preserved. Discover local life through cultural experiences with the communities of the atolls, and be amazed by nighttime walks under a star-filled sky. Programme
Day 1 – Arrival & First Immersion: Arrival at Apataki Atoll, check-in at the lodge, and lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy your first snorkeling session in the South Pass for a gentle introduction to the lagoon and its wild surroundings.
Day 2 – North Pass of Apataki: Full day at the north pass : drifting in the pass, along the drop-off and coral reefs, with lunch on site. An unforgettable immersion into a pristine underwater world teeming with life.
Day 3 – Day in Kaukura: Explore the inner lagoons, the “Blue Hole,” the highly fish-populated false passes, and the adjacent drop-off. A day to uncover Kaukura’s hidden treasures and exceptional biodiversity.
Day 4 – Pelagics & Local Culture: Sea excursion in search of pelagic fish, large schools, and other fascinating species. In the afternoon, participate in a Polynesian cultural workshop for a deep dive into local traditions and lagoon life.
Day 5 – Return to North Pass: Back to the north pass for a final exploration of this iconic site. Snorkeling and sunset happy hour to close your journey with a day of contemplation, freedom, and nature. Farewell Polynesian evening with live local music and traditional dance show. This day, the option to go again to Kaukura is also possible.

Weather conditions may require changes to the itinerary. For the safety of participants, the itinerary may be altered or, if necessary, the expedition may be postponed or canceled.
Important: This expedition is only suitable for participants in good health and experienced in the sea. Those who are unable to snorkel or have medical contraindications cannot participate.
